A LITTLE PIECE OF OUR FOLKLORE

Some stories begin long before we realize we're living them.

My love for horses has always been a part of who I am. At 25, I purchased my very first horse and taught myself to ride, never imagining just how many beautiful chapters would follow.

In 2015, I encountered my first Gypsy Vanner — a breathtaking blue roan who looked as though he'd stepped straight out of an enchanted forest.

With his flowing mane, beautiful feather, and fairytale presence, I was completely captivated. It was one of those moments when you just know something is meant to be.

And just like that, a new era began.

In 2018, I welcomed Ruby, my first Gypsy Vanner, a beautiful weanling filly who made a longtime dream come true.

Together, we spent her younger years showing in hand, learning, growing, and making memories that will always hold a special place in my heart.

Eventually, Ruby found her next chapter with a wonderful family, where she could become a riding horse for their children.

She was my first Gypsy Vanner, the beginning of so many memories, and a horse whose story will always be part of mine.

What began as a love for these remarkable horses slowly grew into something I could never have imagined.

When I purchased SD Nala, who came with a breeding to SD Our Way, I realized that my little dream was becoming something much bigger.

The possibility of raising my own Gypsy Vanners opened the door to an entirely new chapter.

And so, Evermore Acres was born.

The name is a love story of its own, bringing together two of my greatest passions: horses and Taylor Swift.

There is something about the Gypsy Vanner that feels like it belongs in the world of folklore and evermore. The flowing manes, feathered hooves, woodland beauty, and almost mythical presence remind me of a fairytale hidden somewhere among the trees.

It is a world of wonder, imagination, and stories waiting to unfold.

Taylor's music has always been a source of inspiration for me, and whenever I have the opportunity to name one of our horses, I love weaving a little piece of her music into their identity.

From the names they carry to the memories we make, each horse becomes part of our own growing folklore.

This is our Evermore Era.

Our little piece of wonderland is nestled in the heart of Central Oregon, where sweeping high desert landscapes meet breathtaking mountain views.

Here, the horizon seems endless, and the sunsets are made of dreams.

As the evening light settles over the pastures, the mountains turn golden, the sky comes alive, and our horses become silhouettes against a landscape that never seems to lose its magic.

There is something about a Gypsy Vanner standing beneath a Central Oregon sunset that takes my breath away every single time.

It's the kind of beauty you wish you could hold onto forever.

I share this adventure with my husband, Jered, who has been my biggest cheerleader through every new chapter.

Although he didn't grow up around horses, he has embraced this journey with me, supporting my dreams and all the unexpected adventures that come with them.

Together, we're creating a life filled with horses, beautiful memories, and stories that are still being written.

There is no denying the breathtaking beauty of a Gypsy Vanner, but the real magic lies in their hearts.

They are funny, affectionate, endlessly personable horses who seem to believe that every human was put on this earth specifically to give them attention.

They love being involved, enjoy learning, and genuinely want to be part of your world.

Their willingness to please and desire to connect make them such extraordinary companions.

At Evermore Acres, our breeding philosophy is rooted in the belief that every generation should build upon the last.

We thoughtfully select our pairings with the goal of improving upon our mares while preserving the qualities that make this breed so special.

Our foals are raised as part of our family, receiving appropriate handling from their very first days. We focus on building trust, teaching respect, and helping them discover that people are wonderful companions.

We want every horse to have the foundation to become someone's once-in-a-lifetime partner.

Because beauty may catch your eye, but it's their heart that makes you stay.

My greatest hope is that every horse raised at Evermore Acres will someday become someone's heart horse.

The horse they dreamed about.

The one they are proud to call their own.

The one who greets them at the gate, makes them laugh on difficult days, and becomes part of the memories they'll carry for a lifetime.

I hope our horses become part of someone's best days, their greatest adventures, and the little moments they never want to forget.

Because this journey has never been about simply raising beautiful horses.

It's about the connections we create, the dreams we follow, and the stories that continue long after a horse leaves our pastures.

From the first moments of a new foal's life to the day they find their forever person, every chapter matters.

And somewhere along the way, I hope each of our horses finds the person who looks at them and knows they've found something truly special.

A once-in-a-lifetime kind of love.

As Evermore Acres continues to grow, I look forward to every new beginning, every foal, every adventure, and every beautiful story waiting to unfold.

I may not know exactly what the next chapter holds, but I know it will be filled with the horses I love and the memories we make along the way.

After all, the most beautiful stories are the ones we never want to end.
